Missoula County opposes Senate Bill 41 - Prohibit consideration of future subdivision impact, scheduled for hearing before the Senate Local Government Committee this afternoon. SB 41 appears to limit analysis of development over time and could significantly harm the Countys ability to consider the impact of a subdivision in terms of local services or public health and safety if local government and the public can not plan for roads, infrastructure, emergency services, etc. Please oppose SB 41.
Respectfully,
Dale Bickell on behalf of the Missoula Board of County Commissioners
