A bill authorizing counties to dedicate park land.
Recommend Support The bill provides for counties with increased flexibility to dedicate parkland outside of the subdivision process. This bill reflects the desire of residents in the Target Range area to dedicate Big Sky Park as parkland. The Park is currently owned by the County without a formal park designation.

Missoula County supports House Bill 245 - Authorize counties to dedicate park land, and thanks Representative Edmunds for carrying the bill. HB 245 will be heard before House Local Government tomorrow. The bill provides counties with increased flexibility to dedicate parkland outside of the subdivision process and reflects a desire of residents in the Target Range area to dedicate Big Sky Park as parkland.
