MACDC recommended an amendment to clarify that a commencement of action filing fee is due at the time of filing of the Notice of Removal in District Court. MACDC lobbyist advised that Rep. Fitzpatrick requested said amendment at the hearing. No further concerns related to Clerk of Court duties. MACDC is monitoring.
