  2. This will require us to print a seperate ballot with just levies and bond issues on a ballot for property owners. Also, this would be outside of Montana Votes there could be chance of errors. The bill needs to clarify similar to 7-33-2106 (2) who and how they would get a ballot.

  3. Senator Barrett,

    Missoula County opposes Senate Bill 130 - Revise municipal election laws, before Senate Taxation tomorrow morning. SB 130 would require the elections office to print a separate ballot with levies and bond issues for property owners who are not residents of the area adding expense and labor to an already complex process. Additionally, the non-resident voters would not be captured in the Montana Votes database increasing the possibility for errors. The bill also fails to clarify the method in which the ballots would be distributed. Please oppose SB 130.
