Missoula County supports House Bill 445 - Allowing abbreviated form of certified ballot. This bill provides that ballot language may be abbreviated for ballot issues which would result in cost saving to counties in the form of reduced postage, printing, ballot, and programming costs. Linda Stoll: This is a MACR-initiated bill that would allow local election administrators to be able to use abbreviated language on ballot issues, thereby reducing, in some instances, the number of pages contained in a ballot.
