"I have no objection from the DES side, this appears to try and stop two things. 1 ordinances like Missoula City passed banning cell use, this bill would exempt amateur radio from the bill, which Missoula all ready did 2 prevent cities from saying you can't put up a radio tower because it violates zoning. On number two there is no issue DES wise but Dale/Anne and Pat O should comment on that piece since it impacts zoning and I could see where we might want to oppose based on that since they set the height as 100 feet." -Chris Lounsbury
